Founder
- Steve and AGS helps their clients succeed by analyzing the financial information of the business so that the owners and managers can understand where they need to focus their attention to improve the profitability of their business.
- Steve has been immersed in the dairy industry his entire life. He was raised on a traditional dairy farm near Green Bay, Wisconsin and received a B.S. from UW-River Falls and a M.S. from Iowa State.
- He has worked with Land O’Lakes in their Dairy Development Program, Compeer Financial in their Dairy Consulting Program and most recently formed a joint venture with GPS Dairy Consulting, starting AgriGrowth Solutions, LLC.
- Steve is active in the Dairy Business Association of Wisconsin and he and his wife, Stacie, reside near Elk Mound, WI.
Trent Dado
Business Development Director
- Trent is the Business Development Director for AGS. In this role, he helps build and grow the business to best suit the needs of AGS clients and the broader dairy industry.
- Trent serves as a liaison between the AGS and GPS teams to develop joint services and extra value for mutual clients between the two sister companies.
- Trent actively consults with dairies as a nutrition and management consultant and works with dairy clients in the upper Midwest.
- He resides in Amery, WI and enjoys working on his family’s dairy farm and spending time outdoors.
Courtney Graham
Consulting Analyst
- Courtney Graham is a Dairy Consulting Analyst for AgriGrowth Solutions, LLC. She provides support in developing budgets, quarterly monitoring reports, and project-based consulting services.
- Although she did not grow up in the industry, she is passionate about learning. She is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls where she obtained her undergraduate in International Business, minoring in Agricultural Business.
- Not knowing what her exact career path was, she returned to graduate school and received a master’s in business administration.
- Opportunity presented itself to get into the ag industry when AgriGrowth Solutions was formed. She is excited to continue to learn more and more each day about the business and industry.
- Courtney lives in northern Wisconsin on a lake with her husband, Matt, and two children, Jack and Owen. She also lives on a small funny farm with two dogs, some chickens, a few Scottish Highlands and one duck.
Gabriella Houdek
Consultant
- Gabriella is a consultant on the AgriGrowth Solutions team. In her role, she works with clients to understand, analyze and benchmark the financial metrics of their dairies and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Gabriella attended the University of Minnesota where she studied animal science and agricultural business. After completing her masters in agricultural economics, also at the University of Minnesota, she spent four years as a credit officer for an agricultural lender.
- Gabriella is passionate about combining her understanding of farm financials with her dairy background to help dairy producers achieve their goals.
- Gabriella and her husband, Eric, live in Hastings, MN where they are involved in her family's farm.
Zach Lensmire
Consulting Analyst
- Zach is a Dairy Consulting Analyst for AgriGrowth Solutions, assisting consultants with preparing financial reports, organizing financial data and helping to create a collaborative environment with clients.
- His passion for the agriculture industry began growing up on his families’ small dairy farm in Cleveland, Wisconsin.
- He went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science and a certificate in Agriculture Business Management.
- His goal is to be able to provide excellent financial support for the industry he is passionate about.
- Zach and his wife, Mallory, reside in New Holstein, WI where they are also raising their daughter.
Sara Swenson
Consulting Analyst
- Sara Swenson is owner of Farm Ledger Solutions, LLC providing tailored fractional controller and CFO services to dairy and grain operations.
- Sara completed her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Finance emphasis at University of Wisconsin – River Falls. Upon graduation, Sara began her career as a mutual fund accountant trading equities for a large investment firm.
- Prior to founding Farm Ledger Solutions, Sara served as CFO for a diverse agricultural organization comprised of a retail seed / chemical business, grain handling and merchandising businesses, a dry bean processing plant and a large-scale row and specialty crop operation. Sara leverages over 20 years of finance and farming experience, to customize her fractional CFO, controller and business coaching solutions to your unique business needs, providing ongoing support and adapting strategies to meet your evolving goals.
- Sara currently resides in Western Wisconsin with her husband and two boys.
