Steve and AGS helps their clients succeed by analyzing the financial information of the business so that the owners and managers can understand where they need to focus their attention to improve the profitability of their business. Steve works with his clients in developing realistic budgets and being able to help them predict obstacles and opportunities for their business. Steve has been immersed in the dairy industry his entire life. He was raised on a traditional dairy farm near Green Bay, Wisconsin and received a B.S. from UW-River Falls and a M.S. from Iowa State. Before consulting, he was the CFO of a large commercial dairy and spent some time doing nutrition and milk quality work. He has worked with Land O’Lakes in their Dairy Development Program, Compeer Financial in their Dairy Consulting Program and most recently formed a joint venture with GPS Dairy Consulting, starting AgriGrowth Solutions, LLC. He assisted dairies throughout the Midwest, and he has been involved in several international consulting engagements. Besides his work with AGS, Steve is active in the Dairy Business Association of Wisconsin and he and his wife, Stacie, reside near Elk Mound, WI. They have four adult children and four grandchildren. During their free time, Steve and Stacie enjoy spending time at their cabin and spending time outdoors boating, hiking, or side by side riding.
